PROGRAM NOTES
I have always been fascinated with working shops and creative spaces. I have read stories where people make many incredible things in working shops, including clay, wood, and iron. Percussion Site is a composition influenced by these shops, in this case, studios, a woodshop, and a smithy. I am happy to know that many people create exciting and beautiful things in these shops. I am also glad that some people use these shops as their motivation. Working shops have inspired many generations, including me. I thank the hard-working and talented people whose creativity inspires many for inspiring me to write this composition.
